AI Literacy for Recognition Work
What staff who design, assess or verify credentials need to know about AI.
Why this course
Article 4 of the EU AI Act has required providers and deployers to ensure AI literacy of their staff since February 2025, and AI used in education and employment decisions falls under the high-risk regime, now due from 2 December 2027. Credentialing staff work exactly in this space. The course meets a real duty and opens the AI pathway.
What you will be able to do
- Explain in plain terms how generative AI and other AI systems produce outputs and where they fail.
- Identify uses of AI across the credential lifecycle: content, assessment support, skills inference, verification and agents.
- Describe the AI literacy duty under the EU AI Act and why AI in education and employment decisions is treated as high-risk.
- Apply basic rules for responsible use: human review, documentation, data protection and disclosure.
