Why this course

Assessment is where a credential's claim is either earned or not. Employers and professional bodies discount credentials when the assessment is unclear, so this course does more for recognition than any technical improvement.

What you will be able to do

  1. Choose assessment methods that produce evidence for each criterion.
  2. Build analytic rubrics with clear performance descriptors.
  3. Plan moderation and second marking in proportion to the stakes.
  4. Check an assessment for bias, accessibility and integrity risks.
